The flexibility of the Catalyst has enabled
RACO to integrate or install the system in many different
types of applications—most recently for CES-Software
Solutions, Abbott Furnace Company, and the Pike Township Municipal
Authority.
Catalyst uses data integration
software from CES-Software Solutions
CES-Software Solutions, the software development group of
CES-LANDTEC, has developed DataField—data integration
software for the RACO Catalyst system. DataField is a scalable
enterprise solution that collects environmental and operational
data from a wide variety of sources. Designed to let the software
do the work, no alarms are generated unless there is a problem.
DataField continually analyzes data to provide pertinent information
to appropriate parties, using defined trigger values, e-mail
notification, automated compliance reporting, text messaging,
and more. Read

RACO has released a white paper offering information that
aids in the process of selecting a communication platform.
The paper, called "Information Delivery for Remote Monitoring
Systems, An Analysis of Communication Platforms," discusses
the advantages and disadvantages of three specific platforms:
landline, cellular wireless, and control channel cellular.
The white paper includes key questions to ask yourself when
making a decision, as well as a background of the remote monitoring
systems market and an overview of each communication platform.
A related section, "Making the Decision," helps
evaluate all the options available, guiding you through a
series of questions you need to ask when choosing a platform,
and then referring you to a comparison chart to analyze each
option according to the application requirement.
