RACO Offers Free CD with Latest Alarmware™ Software Version 1.39 Designed for their Catalyst™ Interactive Communications System

World�s first integrated data logging and alarm notification system

Emeryville, Calif., May 15, 2001 - RACO Manufacturing and Engineering Company has made available a new CD containing a demonstration and download of the latest Version 1.39 of their Alarmware System Configuration software designed for RACO's Catalyst Interactive Communications System.

Alarmware enables users to quickly and easily set up all monitoring, reporting and control functions of the Catalyst. Once programmed, the Catalyst functions automatically while a PIN-based security system safeguards all settings. Alarmware can also archive the programming done with each Catalyst, replicate “saved” programming from one Catalyst to another, and accommodate the installation for firmware upgrades from RACO's website.

In addition to the free Alarmware Version 1.39 download, the CD includes a comprehensive system overview of RACO's Catalyst, including such features as event and data logging to onboard memory, 4 standard (configurable as digital or analog) internal inputs, 56 standard remote channel inputs (expandable to 256), and digital voice recording for the ultimate in custom alarm notifications. Catalyst can also interface with RACO's DOS SCADA product for data collection and analysis, operate over standard dial-up landline or wireless telephone networks, report to a central computer, and call any standard phone, cell phone, fax, numeric or voice pager or voice mail system.

Downloadable PDFs of a 2-page Catalyst datasheet, a 4-page System Specification and a 188-page Operators Manual are also included in the CD, as are various tutorials on such subjects as Messaging, Adding a Catalyst, Data Logging, Memory Management, Channel State Transitions and Channel Settings.
